Koinonia House i
s one of the men discipleship homes of Fairhaven House, a low income, faith based, clean & sober housing and discipleship program. Koinonia House is next door to Seattle Open Door Church. Unlike the other homes of Fairhaven House, men who live at Koinonia House must profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Koinonia House is for men who are trying to overcome and addiction or some other dysfunction in their life and they know that the answer is to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ. Members of Koinonia House must not be actively walking in addiction, including smoking. Members are required to attend several church services (Tue-Fri at 5:30am, Sun 9:45a and 5pm) and Bible studies (Wed & Thur 7pm). Individual mentoring is provided to each member.
